Rural Roots.

Our beginning wasn’t some fancy business plan put together by stiff suits in a board room. Our beginning was a grungy garage in the rural Midwest town of Willard, Missouri.

Shawn and Julie Burcham had a dream to serve up high-quality, consistently delicious fried chicken in convenient locations across the United States. Through a heck of a lot of hard work, a team mentality, GRITT, and tolerance of failure, they did just that.

From that concrete floor garage in 1999 to now over 400 locations in gas stations and mom & pop grocery stores, Champs Chicken serves up delicious fried chicken and comforting sides every day across the U.S.A.
